Seminar with Professor Itamar Ben Ami (Utrecht University)

In his talk “After Religion”, Prof. Itamar Ben Ami spoke about the theoretical turn in the study of religion, one that transgresses the boundaries assorted to it by scholarship in previous decades. Ben-Ami proposed the concept of "theo-tectonics" to capture religion's fundamental role in the life of religious communities.
